Ocarina triple standard straw fire

Standard triple ocarina with unique straw-fired decoration and lacquer applied on the whole ocarina.

This clay alto  triple ocarina is accurately tuned in the key of C major. It not only encompasses a total of 21 notes from A to higher G but also allows the user to easily play chords. It is a fully chromatic musical instrument.

The «Straw-fired » is the best model of ocarina, beautiful sound and easy control. This model is also distinguished by its finishing, it is put inside a fire-proof container and fired again with flammable straw.  The smoke from the fire makes random organic designs and give a rich woody colour to the surface of the ocarina.  The ocarina is then polished with an organic lacquer which comes from certain trees.  Camphor oil is used to thin the lacquer.  There are a very small number of individuals who have reported allergic reactions to the Straw Fired ocarinas.  If you think you may be allergic to lacquer, or camphor oil, please choose a different ocarina.
